My professional writing journey started in 2017 when I was hired to be a staff writer at a local tack store in San Diego. Prior to that I was a very popular Equestrian Blogger writing for fun. I worked for Mary’s Tack and Feed as a staff writer and social media manager from February of 2017 – until the very end of 2018, from there my freelance writing journey started, first I was hired to write 2 articles for The Plaid Horse (2018 and 2019), and then brought on as a regular contributing writing at Sidelines from 2019 until 2021 when I became a contributing writer at American Paint Horse contributing to their 2 printed magazines CHROME and American Paint Horse Journal.
My writing focuses mostly on uplifting the voices of equestrians of color.
